Full Day Brunei City Tour


Brunei is on the North West of the island and covers an area of around 5,765 sq.km with the South China Sea running along its coastline. The population is around 280,000 and is made up mainly of Malay, Chinese and Indians with a few indigenous groups.. The capital is Bandar Seri Begawan.

About 70% of Brunei's land area is covered by unspoiled rainforest, and is home to many types of flora and fauna endemic only to the island of Borneo.

The Sultanate of Brunei is oil rich. Evidence of its wealth can been seen in the fabulous mosques that are located around the country.

Duration : 6 1⁄2 hours

Depart Time : 9:00 am (except Friday)

Meet at City Centre hotel lobby and depart for Brunei City Tours.

On this full day tour you will visit many renowned places of interest. You will be driven past the Lapau, the Dewan Majlis and the Sir Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque. You will visit the Tamu (Open Market), the Malay Technology Museum, the Brunei Museum, tomb of the fifth Sultan of Brunei, (Sultan Bolkiah 1485-1524).You will proceed for lunch at a local restaurant. You continuing your tour after lunch, visiting the Regalia Centre, Photostop at the Sultan’s Palace (Istana Nurul Iman) and take a water taxi ride to the water village and visit a house there, where local cakes and tea will be served. Your tour will end after your visit to the new mosque- Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque. (L)

Mosques are closed on Thursdays & Fridays for Non-Muslim visitors. Photography is not allowed inside the Mosques and Museums. Ladies are required to wear a black coat/robe (provided by the Mosque) before entering the Mosque Shoes to be taken off before entering the Mosque and the Royal Regalia Building.
