KINABALU PARK + PORING WITH DESA FARM
Poring is named after a species of giant bamboo that grows abundantly in the area. It lies in the eastern boundaries and situated some 40km (25miles) from the Kinabalu Park Headquarters. Poring is about 400m above sea level and is dominated by the lowland forest with huge dipterocarp trees easily seen on the trails.
MARI-MARI CULTURAL VILLAGE
In Mari Mari Cultural Village, there are various traditional homes of five ethnic tribes, Bajau, Lundayeh, Murut, Rungus and Dusun. Each home was built by descendants of the tribes they represent. Travel back in time to ancient Borneo through the display of unique ingenious architecture, simulated lives and ritualistic ceremonies. So get acquainted with each village tribe by entering their homes and experience their rich culture and daily life through various perspectives.
LOKKAWI WILDLIFE PARK
The LokKawi Wildlife Park is 280 acres in size and trail length of 1.4 km. Meet exotic animals without venturing deep into virgin forest of Sabah. Borneo Pygmy elephants, Sumatran rhinoceros, Orang Utans, Proboscis monkeys, Malayan Tigers and other animals are among the 88 local species found at the park.

Sapi Island is one of the most beautiful islands with its crystal clear water, white sandy beach, abundant fishes and beautiful garden of shallow water coral reefs. The 25 acres island is one of the islands that make up Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park.
Manukan Island with total land area of 51 acres is the second largest island in the Tunku Abdul Rahamn National Park. Manukan features the most developed tourist, recreation, and infrastructure facilities. It is covered in dense vegetation and has hiking trails. Manukan offers exquisite accommodation, sophisticated cuisine and Good stretches of beaches on the southern coastline.
Mermaid Island (or Mantanani Islands) situates just apposite of Kota Belud town, which is 80 km from Kota Kinabalu. Her name was originated from dugong, inspiration for mermaids. It comprises of three isolated islands, namely MantananiBesar (the largest island), followed by Mantanani Kecil and Lungisan.
Mengalum Island is located 56km North-West of Kota Kinabalu. This pristine tropical island paradise is surrounded with white sandy beaches, crystal clear water and extensive corals that is teeming with marine life. This picturesque not crowded island is still barely untouched and is a perfect sanctuary from hectic city life.
